Talking to the Capsicum

When I'm not communing with the paintings, I make my way out to the garden to talk to the plants. Stepping barefoot onto the grass and digging in the soil is instantly grounding and energising.

One of the surprises of this year's garden is my first capsicum plant. Despite being a novice when it comes to growing capsicum, this resilient seedling is thriving.

I've been fortunate that the soil in my new garden bed is naturally fertile and nutrient-rich. This has made my foray into vegetable gardening much more enjoyable and low-maintenance than I anticipated.
