Morning Ritual - Holy Basil Tea + Handmade Ceramic Mugs

A while back Holy Basil was suggested to add to my garden for the bees delight.
Since then it has run riot, it loves to be everywhere. So I decided I better start using it. The easiest way for me has been a pot of tea every morning to start my work day, the benefits are said to settle the stomach and clear the mind.

Every morning I grab my mug that I’ve designated as part of the ritual. One reason being because it holds 500mls of tea and it was one of the first slab mugs I’d made in clay school.
It does make a difference holding and drinking from a homemade vessel, even if you do make it yourself! I think the orange design also lifts my spirits and I can find it anywhere in the studio.

The moral to the story is, tea is only one use for Holy Basil, it takes care of itself and the Bees are still very happy!
